It is a vast plain, with ripples (of ancient dunes), one of the most fertile in the world. Bordered on the north by the Mesopotamian region and the Chaco plain, on the west by the Sierras Pampeanas and the region of Cuyo and the South with the extra Andean Patagonia, the Atlantic Ocean and the Rio de la Plata are its eastern boundary. It has great tourism potential, reflected in a number of cities and holiday villages, taking advantage of the possibilities of the area.
