Litoral is the northeastern region of Argentina, comprised by the provinces of Chaco, Corrientes, Entre Ríos, Formosa, Misiones and Santa Fe. It is the land of large rivers, humid tropic, red earth and a virgin forest full of huge trees and extraordinary flora and fauna.

Its extended and exuberant natural beauty is an invitation to discover it. Its historical and cultural legacy is remarkable: from the footprints of its native inhabitants, and up to the roots of the immigrants’ customs, with archaeological ruins that staged different battles in the past. Traditional festivities occupy an important place in the Litoral’s agenda.

Entre Ríos and Corrientes Carnivals are internationally recognized for the joy and glam of their colorful and pompous parades. It is a scenery of incredible beauty spreading along the Iguazú National Park, Mocona Falls, Río Pilcomayo National Park, El Palmar National Park, Iberá Swamps or the Chaco Plains.

Apotheosis of Nature, where the Jesuit Ruins, declared Cultural Patrimony of Mankind by the UNESCO, are a vivid testimony of the Jesuits’ fruitful work.
